Our dedicated welding bays are fully equipped with up to date cutting and welding plant to accommodate a range of welding techniques and ensure consistent and high-quality finished product.
Carbon Steel – STT/MIG/MAG Processes up to 600NB
Stainless Steel Grades 304L and 316L – TIG Process
Our multi-coded welders are fully qualified to BS EN ISO 9606-1:2017 and undergo regular re-testing to ensure that their skills meet rigorous industry standards.
We maintain a comprehensive library of in-house welding procedures to satisfy the range of our welding capabilities. All weld procedures are qualified in accordance with BS EN ISO 15614-1.
We offer welding to BS2633 Class I, ASME XI, BS EN ISO 13480-4, BS2971 Class II and BS4677:1984 standards.
When performing a roll groove, the pipe is cold formed to create a groove without removing pipe material.
Regular inspections using bespoke tapes and gauges are made during the roll grooving process to ensure that the groove characteristics are within the required tolerances to ensure quality and accuracy.
Pipe wall thickness must be considered when roll grooving stainless steel pipework with RX rolls being essential when roll grooving thinner wall pipe such as Sch 5S and Sch 10S.

One of our specialisms is the production of threaded pipework primarily for the fire protection market. Laid out for maximum productivity, our dedicated manufacturing areas are furnished with semi-automatic cutting, threading and screwed fitting “make-on” machinery. We can cut BSPT threads from 15NB to 80NB and suitable jointing compounds are used to suit both the project and surface finish specifications.
Frequent routine inspections, in line with in-house company procedures, are carried out using calibrated thread gauges to ensure threads produced meet the requirements of BSEN10226.
